Hm. As for the process.. I use Photoshop to make these. I almost always start with a stock image of a blank notebook page. From there, I usually base the whole entry around a song lyric, or a song, or an entire album. I let whatever music I'm listening to influence what I make. I just try to visually interpret how the music makes me feel, or visually put together the weird thoughts that are constantly twirling 'round in my mind.
As for the little Photoshop techniques that I seem to use quite often: brushes, fonts, textures, stock photos! I often use torn paper brushes and scotch tape brushes to make the images look like paper & look handmade. I gather stock photos all the time from lots of various sources. If there's something specific that I'm looking for that I want to put in my journal, I usually just use google images to find something that suits what I have in mind.
& honestly, to me, my journals aren't really about the skill or techniques I use. The main purpose is that I'm just trying my best to convey, visually, the thoughts and feelings inside of me.
I'm not sure if any of that information helped, but if you have any specific questions about anything, feel free to ask!
Someone else asked me about my process of making these. If you don't mind, I'm just gonna copy & paste what I said to them. Because I said quite a bit! hehe

I mostly try to use fonts that look like handwriting, punch labels, typewriter, or ink stamps. Pretty much every font I use, I've gotten from http://www.dafont.com .. I often use photos that I find in this community http://community.livejournal.com/foto_d
